All About The Silva Method™

	The Silva Method™ is the result of years of research conducted by Jose Silva of Laredo, Texas in the United States. Over a course of some twenty years he worked with his children, and then others to enhance their skills and abilities to their heights. Jose Silva was the archetypal self-made man. Deprived of a formal education, he took every opportunity to pursue knowledge. After acquiring a knowledge of electronics, he built a successful electronics business. He was awarded a number of patents providing solutions to problems he found. This, as much as anything was the hallmark of the life and work of Jose Silva; find a problem, then find a solution. Jose Silva was tireless in his pursuit of information. Once he had developed an interest in a field, he studied every aspect of that field, from many perspectives and then he began to synthesize a simple, straightforward approach.
	Following his return home following World War II, Jose Silva began to study the capacity of human intelligence and human potential. His work proved that most of the factors that common knowledge took to be fixed, proved to be open to improvement. Where once Intelligence was believed to be fixed at birth; time, and experience, has proved that improvement is possible at any time and under many circumstances. His constant search for information provided support for ideas that were unconventional in those years but have become common knowledge in the years since.
The Silva Mind Control Method	Once the course began to be taught in the outside world, it quickly gained attention. In 1977 the book "The Silva Mind Control Method" was published. It has been in print continuously since then. From that time, the course has expanded. Shortly after the first classes were taught, the demand showed that one man could never teach enough people to make a difference. He began to train others to teach the class along with him. Soon, the many teachers included people who translated the course into many languages, and who carried the ideas around the world. Today, the Silva Method™ is taught in more than 25 languages and in countries all around the world.
